My Benedictine upbringing prepared me for the larger world by teaching me that excellence is often demonstrated through actions rather than professional work alone.
I’m glad to be part of this community where I know I will grow professionally as a teacher and personally as a Catholic, helping to create agents of change in this world.
I feel so nostalgic, coming from a family of 9 siblings, all of us attended Assumption Academy, now St. Scholastica of Pampanga.
With gratitude to the Almighty for the grace to be alive to witness this milestone and to be of service to my Alma Mater, whose teachings are part of my DNA. May SSA continue to be a pillar in molding the youth for a better world!
I am proud to say that I am a Scholastican. In celebrating 100 years of continuous excellence, I am a product of the beST SCHOol there is. I believe that the tradition, culture, and values I grew up with will become a shared identity with my daughters.
I will always be a proud Scholastican, no matter where life may take me. I am grateful for all things, big or small, and everything in between. I am who I am today, all because of my beloved SSA.
The 100-year legacy of SSA focuses on excellence and empowering young women, and I am excited to witness how it will continue to inspire future generations in the coming century, just as it inspired me to always strive to be the best version of myself.
We are looking forward to another 100 years of preparing students for lives centered in Christ and committed to the service of God and His people. In this context, we, the Benedictine-trained, become beacons of light in a society eroded by political corruption.
This milestone is a proof to the dedication of our beloved teachers and administration, the dream of our students, and the support of our alumni. Here’s to many more years of valuable education!
