The Centennial Celebration of the Feast Day of St. Scholastica at SSA-SF on February 10, 2025, was a historic and unforgettable event, bringing together the Scholastican community, alumni, faculty, employees, benefactors, and special guests to honor 100 Years of Love and Service.
A Morning of Faith and Reflection
The celebration began with a Holy Mass, presided over by Most Rev. Charles J. Brown, D.D. (Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines), along with Most Rev. Florentino Lavarias, D.D. (Archbishop of San Fernando, Pampanga), Most Rev. Roberto Mallari, D.D. (Bishop of San Jose, Nueva Ecija), and Most Rev. Honesto Ongtioco, D.D. (Bishop Emeritus of Cubao).
This solemn mass was a moment of deep gratitude, uniting the Scholastican family in prayer and thanksgiving for a century of faith, excellence, and service.
Following the mass, a significant part of the celebration took place—the unveiling of the SSA-SF Historical Marker, symbolizing the school’s 100-year journey and its enduring impact on generations of Scholasticans.
An Afternoon of Recognition and Celebration
After a community lunch, the celebration continued with the SSA Employees Service Award Ceremony, recognizing the dedicated individuals who have shaped SSA-SF’s mission over the years.
The Centennial Variety Show brought a spectacular display of talent and camaraderie, featuring performances from:

• Groove Tonite (Alumni)
• Group One (Alumni)
• Power of Two
Each performance highlighted the strong bond within the Scholastican community and the joy of celebrating this momentous milestone together.
A Night of Music and Unity
The evening program was filled with music and high-energy performances, headlined by Gary Valenciano and Mitoy Yonting & The Draybers, who delivered an electrifying show that had the audience singing and dancing along.
Adding to the night’s significance, Gary Valenciano performed “Kamusta Ka, Pampanga”, a song he reserves exclusively for performances in the province. This heartfelt tribute resonated deeply with the crowd, making the moment even more special.
The celebration concluded with a spectacular fireworks display, lighting up the night sky as a symbol of SSA-SF’s bright future ahead.
